As Fulton County Schools’ first Georgia Department of Education STEM-certified elementary school, River Eves Elementary fosters creative, critical thinkers through an interdisciplinary, hands-on, and project-based approach to learning and teaching. By integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) into daily instruction and through year-long Project Based Learning (PBL) units, our students collaborate to solve real-world problems in our community; using River Eves’ Engineering Design Model (EDM).  Students’ interdisciplinary lessons and PBL work throughout the year are documented in interactive journals and demonstrated at our culminating STEM Showcase.  Supported by collaborative teacher planning, professional development, educational software and various technology applications, River Eves delivers a tailored, hands-on learning experience that prepares students to innovate and thrive.
