Counseling Home

Hello REES Family!
My name is Ms. Exum, and I’m thrilled to be entering my sixth year at River Eves Elementary School! I’m so excited to continue growing with this amazing community. 😊
A little about me: I was born and raised in North Carolina and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. Go Tar Heels! I later received my master’s degree in School Counseling from Georgia State University in 2020, and I’m now a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC).
Outside of school, I love exploring Atlanta, spending quality time with my family and fiancé, reading a good book, or listening to podcasts.
As your school counselor, I’m committed to supporting students through a comprehensive, data-driven counseling program. I collaborate with staff, administration, families, and stakeholders to nurture academic, career, and social/emotional development. I’ll be working closely with students through classroom lessons, small groups, and individual sessions on topics like study skills, mindfulness, emotional regulation, and future planning.
I’m looking forward to another incredible year of learning, growing, and connecting with you all!
