My name is Ms. Exum and I am entering my fourth year at River Eves Elementary School. I am so excited to be with my REES family again. 😊

Just to tell you a few things about me...I was born and raised in North Carolina, and I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. Go Tar Heels! I graduated from Georgia State University in 2020, receiving my master’s degree in School Counseling. In my free time, I love exploring the city of Atlanta, spending time with my family, reading a good book or listening to a podcast.

My role as a counselor is to actively engage students in a comprehensive, data-driven program while working in collaboration with staff, administration, parents, and stakeholders to serve our school community. The comprehensive school counseling program teaches the vital attitudes, skills, and knowledge in academic, career and social/emotional development to support the future success of your child. I will be working closely with your student by providing them with counseling services through small groups, individual sessions, and classroom lessons on topics ranging from social and study skills, mindfulness, dealing with difficult feelings, and future/career planning and awareness.
